I have developed a liking for Matcha Tea over the last few months. I’ve done Coconut milk lattes with it, almond milk ones too but they aren’t as yummy. I’ve added it to fruit bowls and even tried it in oatmeal. It is was a pretty natural evolution for it to show up in Keto Bomb and here it is! The Matcha Tea adds a little energy pick me up as it has a good amount of caffeine in it, but all together these snacks are satisfying.
Matcha Coconut Chocolate Bombs!
- 2 tsp Matcha Tea Powder
- 1.5oz Coconut Butter
- .5oz Dark Chocolate, I used 90% on mine
- 2 tablespoon Unsweetened Coconut Flakes, just for rolling them in
Step 1) Melt chocolate and coconut butter in the microwave.
Step 2) Mix in the Matcha Tea powder, mix well to combine the tea powder with the coconut chocolate mixture.
Step 3) Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes or so; this will vary depending on your fridge temperature. I recommended setting a timer so you don’t forget about it as I did.. lol.. you can soften it in the microwave without issue in case you need to.
Step 4) Once firmed up roll into 1/2 tbsp balls and roll through the coconut flakes to coat them. Store in the freezer and enjoy the perfect afternoon pick me up!
Note: For each 1/2 tbsp Ball you get about 61 calories and 3g Carbs
